Jennie’s Experience
“I’ve learned one persistent truth: real transformation begins when you learn to master yourself.”
For over 25 years of my working life, I've learned one persistent truth: Real transformation begins when you learn to master yourself.
This truth became evident to me even in my first job at age 16, which I stayed with for ten years. During that time, I saw firsthand that while we all bring unique experiences to the table, the ability to navigate life’s challenges depends on developing coping skills that help us survive…and ultimately thrive.
That early insight has been the foundation of my career, as I’ve worked with leaders and teams across industries like institutional investment consulting, B2B software, fintech, and marketing agencies. Whether leading human resources initiatives, crafting financial strategies, or driving client development and growth, I’ve seen that no strategy or process can succeed without people who are equipped to regulate their emotions, adapt to challenges, and lead with clarity.
This belief in the transformative power of self-regulation has shaped my professional focus. I’m proud to partner with leading experts and evidence-based organizations, including The Alert Program®, where I continue to deepen my own understanding of self-regulation as a personal student. Their groundbreaking work inspires me to integrate evidence-backed principles into my consulting practice while tailoring solutions to the specific needs of my clients.
I am passionate about helping individuals and organizations thrive by starting with the most essential skill: mastering themselves. Because when leaders embrace self-regulation, they unlock the ability to create clarity, resilience, and real transformation—not just for themselves but for their teams and businesses. Let’s work together to bring this vision to life

Education
Being a life-long learner is embedded in my DNA. I have studied business administration, marketing, professional sales, human resource management, and DEI leadership.
Beyond formal training, I regularly participate in activities to bolster my expertise and remain updated on the latest trends.
Masters of Arts in Human Resources
University of Cincinnati
I studied a broad range of management curriculum, including courses in DEI, training and development, compensation, negotiation, human resources analytics, change management, and organizational leadership.
For the final capstone project, I applied my marketing and human resources knowledge to create a performance-based executive leadership program for the Los Angeles Dodgers executive team.
My primary objectives were to answer the questions:
What attributes does an effective leader have?
What does research say about these attributes?
How can professionals adopt and develop these attributes?
To answer these questions, I performed deep research of peer-reviewed literature on over 30 sought out leadership attributes. Deliverables included leadership attribute research report, intervention activity ideas, presentation slides, and Learning Management System UX support.
“I was very impressed with Jennie! She is a self-starter and very proactive. If I gave her something to do, she would deliver what was expected, plus go the extra mile to think through what else might be helpful.
She was also a very thoughtful listener. She made sure that she completely understood what was expected of her and how she could deliver the best product possible. I also commend her ability to keep things organized. Things change quickly in the business world – lots of different players, adjusted timelines/preferences, etc. She took it all in stride and continued to deliver.”
Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing
University of Cincinnati
The University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business provided me broad exposure to business and have me practical marketing knowledge that I immediately applied to my professional work.
Courses included economics, digital marketing, business ethics, consumer research, professional selling, operations management, and statistics.
